help me!

Here's another iBook question: I have a lot of music in iTunes, but haven't burned CDs until today. And when I did, on two CD-RWs, the CDs wouldn't play on my stereo, although they played on my iBook and on P's sister's PC laptop. I founda website which said that stuff burned from iTunes to CD-RWs may not be readable on home CD players. Is this normal?

Yup - it can be a problem (also, this may sound like a really stupid question, but did you burn them it as an audio CD's instead of as an MP3 CD?). CD-R's should work fine however and should be cheaper.

This is a big problem in DVD burning land too, with it's two competing formats. DVD-R seems to have the lead in compability with regular DVD players.

I did burn them as audio CDs - although I nearly forgot to confirm that that's what I wanted to do! I'll try it with CD-R once I've bought some.
