Awwwwwww. Sniff.

Anyone who doesn't feel just a little bit teary at this photo has a heart of stone. Stone, I tell you!
And when I remember that there are horrible conservative Christians out there - like George W Bush and his anti-gay-marriage pals - who think that those women are somehow evil or sinful, I know that I and they don't believe in the same God.

Sorry I didn't text last night! Hope the gig went well.
Damn newspaper can go hang.
(actually, I'm going to stay and do it. even band-swapping Jimmy Cake action isn't a good enough reason to feck it up!)
It's a pretty sick world where a wife-beating, womanizing jerk can be legally married, but two women who have quietly loved each other for decades cannot. "Family values," my arse.
But those two women, wasn't that just so lovely? They looked so happy. To finally have your love validated and given the respect it deserves, that's a great thing!
Love your icon, btw! Ron Perlman rocks!
Those two women are lovely, and are very obviously more suited for marriage than the hatemongers.
What's less cool is that according to the accompanying article, these women and the other same-sex couples who got married after them will inevitably face legal challenges. I admire and honour their bravery, their willingness to blaze a trail.
