Okay, when reading the latest 7th Heaven recap on TWoP (shut up, those recaps are hilarious - what's the point of reading a recap of a good show? It's the badness that makes it funny!), I noticed an ad for a forthcoming show called Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital. Please, someone in America, tell me that this is a remake of Lars Von Trier's insanely fucked up TV series about a freaky hospital, The Kingdom, and not a coincidence/proof that Stephen King has turned into a total plagiarist? Of course, remaking it doesn't show huge amounts of originality, but it's better than just ripping it off, uncredited.

It was bad enough that Mike Meyers was supposed to be doing "Elling." Now this? I hope this isn't true. *screams and runs away*

It is a remake, but you'd never know it from the TV ads they're running here.

Don't even get me started. Here is the official site.

It's a travesty.

I know nothing about Kingdom Hospital, but I too wait with bated breath for each new 7th Heaven recap.

Hee, they're hilarious, aren't they? I do miss Matt being simply called 'Dopey', though. That never stopped being funny. But I suppose each recapper brings her own jokes...
