Annie says that the improvement in her mood seems to have made everyone else's mood better, too. That should probably tell her something about how when you're a total bitch to everyone all the time, they're miserable, but it doesn't. Suddenly, Annie's face turns angry and she stares directly at the camera and says: "But I'm not high." I believe it was at this point that I realized that this show had passed some kind of point of no return and that nothing would ever be the same again.

And for me, that was the point in the recap when I laughed so much I actually spilled my tea all over the floor. I love the 7th Heaven recaps.

That was an excellent moment in that recap. I've only seen the show a few times, and probably not at all in the last year, so sometimes I wonder whether the recapper's making things up, but really, I don't think they have to.

My favourite TWOPs are Six Feet Under. They seem to hit the sarky/critical vs. lovin' the show bang on, and I also love Aaron's dialogues with random anybodies (usually Alan Ball, sometimes Sars) and his hopelessly lustful obsession with Lauren Ambrose.

I actually don't like the recaps of good shows - I prefer the unabashed loathing! My first encounter with recaps was Dawson's Wrap (which of course turned into MBTV and TWoP), which was just hysterically funny and really mean. I find the ones about good shows kind of boring. Luckily, 7th Heaven is so amazingly shit that this is never a problem there! They've gone through about four recappers for that show, and they've almost all been hysterical (I was disappointed when Cate stopped doing them, because she was so funny, but her replacement turned out to be just as good).
