Gah. Even with broadband, technical problems abound. My Mail programme (the standard OSX 'Mail') won't send any e-mails (although it'll receive them), saying that the "relay not permitted". To make things worse, it won't display the 'preferences' option - when you click it just shows the list of e-mail filtres set up by me, rather than all the different preferences. Any ideas, Mac tech people?

No, it's the same server - iolfree. And it's receiving the messages fine, so I really don't understand what's going on!

Call the IOL tech support line, or else check out the broadband section that IOL must have (I hope?) chances are there's a dedicated mail server for broadband users...all you (probably) need is the mail server address for the broadband users.
