I am so stressed by the American election (I keep thinking how much more stressed I'd be if my parents still lived there, as they did for the last one) that I am cheering myself up by listening to Hancock's Whole Evening. I was reared on Hancock's Half Hour - my sisters and I used to listen to episodes of the radio show on tape when we were going to bed, and I still find it utterly hilarious. If you've never heard Hancock before, check it out - and the sitcom itself is on BBC 7 every Tuesday (you can hear it anytime you like, thanks to the "listen again" feature). Currently Radio 2 is broadcasting the episode in which Hancock decides to go back to nature - in Clapham Common. Magnificent.

On a more serious note, check out this excellent account of how Spain did not give in to terrorism (scroll down if necessary).

Have you checked out the early returns? Go here, in fact, keep an eye on jmhm and she'll keep you up to date.

I'm gonna have to take a nap soon. My fever has returned.
