sing, sing a song

Identify the lyrics and win a prize! I was lying about the prize part.

1. Come in baby, you can dry the tears on my dress
2. Some people think little girls should be seen and not heard, but I think....
3. These are the roots of rhythm and the roots of rhythm remain
4. Remembering times when they were younger, setting the town on fire
5. It's wrong to want more than a folk song
6. Here comes the sun I love so much, makes me wanna go fuck shit up
7. Is y'all alright? I don't know.
8. If you wanna find yourself by travelling out west or if you wanna find somebody else that's better, go ahead.
9. You don't ever have to choose, whenever you win you know I'm wishing you'd lose
10. I did not mean one word of what I said. I don't hate you. I don't. I do not.
11. Haven't you heard of contraception?
12. I must be losing my mind, I keep on trying to find a way out
13. Night falls, I fall and where were you? Where were you?
14. You're addressing the world from your bed, all alone in the crowd like you said
15. Started my life in an old, cold run-down tenement slum

Um....no! Of course I wasn't! You will get yours on December 25th. I will leave it for you under a brightly decorated tree in Drumcondra...

Is number 11 a misquote from 'Too Much Too Young' by the Specials?

'Ain't you heard of the starving millons
Ain't you heard of contraception
D'you really want a program of sterilization
Stay in control of the population boom!
It's in your living room
Keep a generation gap
Try wearing a cap'

Sorry, but I do so love that verse, despite its scary eugenic connotations. I think it comes of meeting the kids of people i went to school with.
