That was horrible. Very, very good radio drama, but terribly upsetting. I actually started crying when Kathy started sobbing in the shower, and even though I'm addicted to the Archers, I'm never usually moved to tears by it. I think that the introduction of Scary Owen was done too quickly - he only became a speaking part a couple of months ago, and I think it would have worked better if they'd given his character much longer to develop before turning him into scary misogynist rapist - but it was still horribly convincing tonight. Especially the way he gave her her coat and walked her home, convinced that he hadn't done anything wrong.
By the way, has anyone else had any problems posting on the BBC message boards? I've registered ages and ages ago and can log in, but when I try to actually post I get a mail back saying my registration isn't complete (even though it is, and I've sent back the confirmation e-mail).
