Burp. Yes, it's Christmas, and I've spent the last two days doing the following things:

Eating

Drinking fine wines

Lying in front of a roaring fire reading my way through the wonderful books I got for Christmas

Gazing at the other things (Benefit makeup, Gilmore Girls and Dorothy L. Sayers DVD box-sets, a Pavement DVD, fabulous bag, Marc Jacobs perfume, vast cookbook, Cath Kidston tea set) which I received as gifts but which can't be used until I get home and start leaving the house again

Playing Cranium with my highly entertaining family

Making up funny songs with my sisters to taunt other members of my family (particularly our mother, who since moving America seems to have experienced a taste-ectomy and developed a terrible taste for what we mockingly call "gewgaws and gimcracks")

Watching some Christmas telly (Rupert Everett as Sherlock Holmes!!)

Hoping you're all having a fabulous festive season!

Burp.

I had such high hopes for Rupert Everett as Sherlock Holmes! Grumble, grumble, grumble!

Was this the same duo of actors as the Hound of the Baskervilles with the CGI of Silliness? Because that was good (but for the Hound), and filled with the manly gayness of Holmes.

This was filled with nothing but silliness.

Cranium! I love Cranium, except the impersonation card. I got to play it three days in a row this year, and my sister even let me do some sculpting, which never normally happens.
