somehow the vital connection is made

In today's Observer, Louise Wener talks of how the music industry failed women in rock.

This would be the same Louise Wener who, a decade ago in her musical heyday, used to go on about how feminism was pointless, how Riot Grrrl was a joke, and how if women weren't doing well it was their own faults. Changed your mind, have you, Louise? Well, better late than never, I suppose.

I always preferred Justine Frischmann anyway!

My favourite bit of today's Observer was Nick Cohen writing that if you put "swivel-eyed loons" into Google it takes you to the official UKIP page. And guess what! It's true! I am over the moon about this.

Hee, so am I! That's very funny. And accurate.

And I too much prefered Justine Frischmann, and not just because I had a huge crush on her.

Me too.

And I always thought Louise Wener looked like a hamster...

Like the Tories, but for feminism... if you're rich it's because you tried hard, but when you're poor it's because of everyone else...

I don't recognize that song. Do "Ambassador's of Sorrow" have a new CD out? Cause I loved the one I bought from Kabukikore (sp?).

They don't have a new CD (yet) but Angeline sent P and me a CD sampler of some gorgeous new stuff - you can hear it on their website, www.theambassadorsofsorrow.com
