This morning when I finally dragged myself out of bed, I went to pull up the blind, saying to Patrick "huh, I bet it's raining."

But no! It was SNOWING! And it still is, very heavily. Ju Ju might get to be an ermine feline after all. And I'd better finally finish knitting those mittens....

Somehow, it's always a shock to open the curtains and find snow. It feels odd that things could be so different out there, and you not know. Thick fog has the same effect. But it isn't nearly as pretty.

It tried to snow on us in London on Saturday, but it didn't really get very far.

I was just going into the Tate when that happened. It was bizarre. Came out again and it might never have happened. Supposed to snow a lot this week, especially in the east of the British mainland so you'll be getting some soon.

you'll be getting some soon.

Oh, joy.

It tried again early this morning, but with teeny tiny flakes that were just blowing all over the place. And now we have sunshine!

You have no idea how exciting I find the concept of snow! Hurrah for snow!

Hee! The way things are going, it'll probably still be snowing by the time you get over here. It's snowing all over Britain and Ireland.

That's just awesome. I was doing Chalet-timing -- "snow all gone by the end of Easter term" and then realised that (a) Easter was really early this year, (b) Elinor is not a reliable source of weather information, and (c) it will still be all snowy in Austria!

It should be very snowy in the Tirol! And yes, I don't think I'd ever really rely on EBD for factual info on, well, anything....

is it snowing across the central plains, and across the bogs etc etc??

I bravely cycled in in it this morning, and my feet got exceedingly cold. What day will we go for lunch?

My soul is swooning softly as the snow falls upon all the living and all the dead. Even though it doesn't seem to be sticking to any of them, alas!

You are very brave for cycling. I was thinking of going in to the bank (cheque to deposit) but can't face going all the way into town, so will stay at home writing about stoner films, or rather, good films in which people get stoned. I am going to devote a large chunk of the article to Freaks and Geeks!

Wednesday for lunch? Hopefully I will have last week's GG for you.

You might warn me before you do that, I was drinking coffee and I SNORTED.

It stuck quite a lot to this living person! It actually looks liek it might begin again soon, hurrah!

And Wednesday would suit me perfectly. Shall we say same bat time, same bat place?

Would that time and place be one in our Temple B haunt? If so, yes!

I shall probably be very tired as I just got asked to write that stoner thing for tomorrow instead of Friday as the ZB interview has to be held off for another week for legal reasons and they need to fill the space.
