I should add that my neighbours were so bloody noisy last night that I first tried to sleep in the spare room, and then, when the noise was so bad that the entire house seemed to be vibrating, I rang the police. Yes! I have become Old Woman [Surname], scourge of youth. And I don't care. Seriously, I could hear every word of their crappy music when I was on the other side of the house. Anyway, the police were very nice when I rang the local station at about half two - I told them it obviously wasn't an emergency, but it was insanely annoying, and that the partiers were all over the road making a rumpus (which they were). But before the police could turn up, the party suddenly stopped, with a great outpouring of faux-skanger teens all over the road, all bellowing at the tops of their voices. And then, blessed silence, and I was so knackered I fell asleep almost insantly before I could ring the station and tell them not to bother.

While lying there listening to Eminem last night, I vowed to put on incredibly loud music right next to the wall this morning to wake up the little fuckers, but they must have constitutions of iron, because when I woke up at ten, they were already being noisy next door. Not that I would have actually blasted them awake, because that's a bit petty, although I really, really would have liked to.

Ju Ju! Ju Juuuuuuu! Aw. She's scary.

Also, I am a huge fan of calling the police on noisy neighbours. Our fire-raising drunken naked downstairs bastards seem to have gone, but my finger is ever poised to dial should they turn up again. It's not the preserve of interfering old ladies, it's the preserve of decent human beings with a requirement for sleep, honestly. Or that's what I tell myself.

Heh, that's what I was telling myself too!

And Ju Ju really is scary - I woke this morning to find that she had SOMEHOW opened our bedroom door and was sitting my the bed, glowering at me.
