fear of flying

I have just watched the first two episodes of Lost which began with a double episode on RTE.

I am never getting on a plane again.

But, wow, that was good.

Wasn't it just? I remember when someone first convinced me to get hold of the show, I wasn't convinced by the premise, but was hooked within seconds. My brother, who had far less knowledge of the show than I, happened to be in the room, and was perched over my shoulder within minutes asking what was going on. It really does grab you right from the outset, and those first few episodes are some of the best introductions to a tv show and it's characters I've ever seen.

(Sorry, I just can't help but share the Lost excitement)

I liked it and am relieved that the monster turned out to be something that seems to be credible - for a while there I feared it was a TV version of Jurassic Park meets Cast Away...

It was the same in our house - my sister said 'if that's an invisible dinosaur I'm not watching this anymore.'
I'm still not sure about the monster in the woods, but it was good - lots of intriguing characters, and scary!

I watched it too (despite our diabolical RTE2 reception) - brilliant stuff! The characters were introduced really well and it was very, VERY creepy. I am now very excited about next week's episode, and hope our poxy crackling sound is sorted out by then.
