the saga continues

I woke up at half past six to find Bubbles sitting on the bed, beaming at me (or so it seemed). And when I finally bundled him out the window, I went out to the loo and found Ju Ju sitting in front of my door, glowering in a terrifying way. What on earth will happen next?

He's so sweet!

Is there anything that might be driving him away from next door - small kids or anything? I had that happen with one of next door's cats, who eventually moved in with the people next door in the other direction.

I guess you should perhaps make some extra fuss of Ju Ju if you can? (If she'll let you between glowering....)

There are kids next door (who adore him), but the youngest is 6. And the thing is, he's only coming in during the period between evennig and the early morning, so I don't think he's trying to escape them.

I'm trying to make a fuss of Ju Ju, but she keeps on glowering! She's sitting in the doorway right now, sending death rays my way.

Hee! He's at the age where he likes to go off on adventures. I suppose soon JuJu will try to assert herself. Watch out she doesn't start summoning a lot of white fluffy dogs, you may wake up to find six of them in your bedroom!

There is so going to be a showdown. And when there is you have to film it.

Obviously you will be doing the sensible and responsible owner thing and breaking it up, but you will also be filming.

For the sake of journalism! And also our amusement, which is even more important.

In the first house I lived in in London, the owner had two cats. My bedroom window was above the roof of the back section of the house, so the cats would happily use it as a private doorway.

One night, when I was in the house by myself, both the cats started freaking me out by hissing and acting all scaredy and angry and weird. I psyched myself up and tiptoed into the front bedroom, all ready to find a mad axeman or somesuch. Instead, after I'd established that there was no person in there, I stopped moving and could hear a quiet rustling. And out from under the bed came the cutest little ginger kitten, perfectly confident and rubbing himself against my legs asking for attention.

I did let myself play with him for a bit, but eventually coaxed him into my bedroom (shutting the angry resident cats out of the room on the way) and reluctantly put him back out of my window onto the roof. Where he sat for a bit, pleading for more entertainment, and then shook himself off and wandered back (presumably) to where he came from.

Cute extra guests are fun, provided they don't get eaten or beaten up by any of the existing residents.

I'm beginning to log in to LJ JUST TO HEAR ABOUT BUBBLES, and in the hopes of seeing more pictures.

Am I some sort of sicko?

i can tell you from bitter personal experience what will happen next -- full on CAT WARS. we have this every night now, and it's worse since we moved. ours seem intent on honing the dual arts of bullying n' shaggin' -- all at speed, with a soundtrack of horrific yowling noises...

Aww, that is kinda cute. HE really is stalking you!

What on earth will happen next?
Ju Ju will either :
a) develop the art of teleporting
b) start training and become an evil ninja kitty
c) spit furballs at Bubbles and attack the bedroom door when she's locked out.
