Today, I am wearing a brown and red v-necked sleeveless jumper, a red cardigan, a tweed skirt, and my monkey shoes.

I think it might be Autumn.

But I don't mind that summer is over and I only have two more days of my 20s left, because there are things to cheer me up, like the new Paul Temple mystery (Paul and Steve, will you ever learn? Any time a scared person asks you to meet them in a secret location, you turn up at that location and (a) someone shoots at you from a passing car (b) the person who wanted to meet you is lying there, dead or (c) the secret location blows up. So why do you keep agreeing? Or at least, why don't you bring along your good chum Sir Graham Forbes of Scotland Yard? I think I would be a better detective than Paul Temple. I wouldn't keep walking into traps, for one). And darling Patsington bought me the Mighty Boosh DVD as an advance birthday present, and it is the funniest thing ever. Seriously, it's fucking hilarious. Naboo and the kittens! Bob Fossil! Mod wolves! Even the way Vince says "all right?" at the beginning of every show sends both Patsington and me into hysterics. I absolutely love it. Alas, we watched all eight episodes practically in one go, so now we have no more left to watch. I hope they show the second series on BBC2 soon, even though I hear Bob Fossil and Dixon Bainbridge ("you catch on quickly, fool!") aren't in it....

they are in it- just not very much, and it's a joy to see them when they turn up. I love Bob Fossil.

We've been listening to the radio version now (which I vaguely remember being on Radio4 at, like, half eleven at night, which is not my usual radio-listening time) and Bob Fossil is much more angry in it! Our favourite bit was when he yelled "YOUR LOGIC MAKES ME FEEL LIKE A DICK!"

he's particularly satanic when he turns up in season 2.

I love the Mighty Boosh as well - here it only got shown at some gawdawful time so a friend taped them all so we could see it. I still giggle when I hear "Cars". My fave bit is when mod-guy (can never remember what they're called) describes his ideal girl as someone who likes "bright colours and soft fabrics" and the other asks "don't you want an intellectual equal?" and he replies "yeah". Argh it's a good thing I'm not a re-capper, I'm terrible at describing it.
