It's lashing, lashing rain, my Amazon order and new Persephone book (oh the joys of being on the Persephone mailing list) haven't turned up despite one being posted nearly two weeks ago from the US and the other being posted over a week ago from London (I could have walked from London in that time), and I have to go into town soon IN THE RAIN and do an interview. Which I don't particularly want to do. And to add to this I have a horrible lurker spot on my chin. I'm thirty years old! Why do I have a spot? I should have grown out of them by now, surely! I didn't even have any spots when I was a teenager (seriously, not one) and even when they did start appearing when I was about twenty, they were relatively few and far between and definitely PMT related. But when they come, they are always horrible evil lurkers which lurk away under the skin for days on end and actually hurt. Bah!

On the plus side, when I get home this evening I will watch both new Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars, which I've been saving up for such a miserable rainy day occasion (although is it just me being cross, or is this season of GG kind of....crappy?).

They have nice cardigans in Jigsaw at the mo, but they are a tad spendy. Let me know if you see any good ones elsewhere.

Also M&S are doing their pure cashmere cardis again, which cost stupid money, but I am sorely tempted by another one as I've worn my grey one for two winters and it is like my little woolly wearable security blanket. Sooooffffffft.

Yes, I too went and mauled the pure cashmere PORN in M&S. I only have two acrylic cardigans for the winter, though, and a splurge on cashmere might be an investment. For teaching, right?

There is possibly fake cashmere (maybe Kashmere) in Dunnes! I don't know how much it is, but it can't possibly be as much as M&S, right?
