Right On.

When I was 15, just after the Gulf War began, a few of my friends and I were the last to leave our classroom at the end of the day. And I can't remember who suggested it, but we found some chalk covered the blackboard in anti-war slogans.

No teacher rubbed it off. It was up for a week.

And these days, I feel just as freaked and worried about the state of the world as I did back then; like father like son, eh, Bush? Ah, how nice it is to have another Bush in the White House so I can relive my teenage angst with even more ease. Go, George!Keep on fighting those scary Arab "evil-doers", but please ignore all the rich Irish-American fuckwits giving money to Noraid! I mean, who in the world cares if one of my friends once heard turned the corner of the main street in his home town (Omagh) to find it destroyed and covered with dozens of bloodied bodies? Who cares if literally every single person I know either has been immediately affected by terrorism in the North or has relatives who were? These are nice terrorists (let's just forget about the streets full of bodies) whose supporters might vote for you!). The way the American government are behaving at the moment is really, really turning the rest of the world against them, and that scares the crap out of me.

So listen to them.

If you are on my friends list, I'm sorry for all the depressed whining I've been doing lately. And if you're reading this and are a member of the kind and interested public, um, be thankful.

Hee, I've never heard the Bertie the Bush Kangaroo chant. That's brilliant.

And I hope to go to the next anti-war demonstration; I couldn't get over to Shannon this weekend. But the fact we're letting the US military use the airport disgusts me - along with a large section of the public, I'm glad to note.
