Afternoon moon

The house in the park is only open to the public once a year - Patsington and I wonder if we could just move in...

And then, as I'm sure you'll be relieved to hear, the batteries of my camera died so I couldn't take any more photos. This camera eats up batteries - it takes AA ones, and it uses them up ridiculously quickly. Is this normal for digital cameras?

Hee, but of course! We could start a very, very fancy commune.

And, I can only take photos using the screen because it doesn't have a view-finder/window thing.!I have it set to go to sleep after 30 seconds when not in use, which I use when taking photos out and about, because I was worried that turning it off and turning it on was using even more power. I really should get some rechargeable batteries - much more environmentally friendly, too....

You definitely need some rechargable ones -- mine last forever in my camera (I can take it out for an entire weekend of picture-taking, with the little screen in the back on and everything). It's a lot cheaper in the long run, too.
