Afternoon moon

The house in the park is only open to the public once a year - Patsington and I wonder if we could just move in...

The sun is always shining somewhere

Autumn in January

And then, as I'm sure you'll be relieved to hear, the batteries of my camera died so I couldn't take any more photos. This camera eats up batteries - it takes AA ones, and it uses them up ridiculously quickly. Is this normal for digital cameras?

A but late, maybe, but I have to add a recommendation for the batteries I use, which are Sony Cybershot rechargeable batteries (obviously you can still use them if your camera isn't a Sony), which last for three/four days of frequent photo-taking. They're expensive, but it's much cheaper than using non-rechargeable batteries in the long run. I know you can get them in the Sony shop at the corner of Stephen's Green, and also in the camera/electronics shop in the Stephen's Green shopping centre, and probably elsewhere as well. I have two pairs, and I bring a spare charged pair around in the pocket of my camera case.

Also, your photos are making me homesick for Dublin in January...
