robin protection watch: day 2

Ju Ju's obsession with the robins has only increased since yesterday. When let out this morning after her breakfast (her usual routine), she waddled with scary determination across the lawn and plumped herself down directly beneath the nest. Christopher Robin and Robin of Sherwood flew to the garden fence, whereupon Ju Ju barked at them (seriously, it has to be heard to be believed) and glowered impotently. The poor old robins twittered about the garden, and they and Ju Ju exchanged squeaky noises until I dragged Ju Ju back to the house. Now she's sitting at the back door, staring straight at the robins with an even more psychotic than usual look in her eye. What can I do? I can't stay in the kitchen all day to make sure Ju Ju stays away from the avian pair. Can anyone think of some sort of cat repellent that I can put near their nest?

I don't know what's come over her, I really don't. I mean, I've had her for nearly five years and she's spent much of time lying around the garden while birds frolicked around her. She's never shown any interest in, like, eating them before. Why on earth has the bloodlust suddenly kicked in now? It's a mystery.

Sorry for the multiple comments, heh. My dad decided not to move it. It's very close to my dog's fence, so hopefully he will be a cat/skunk deterrant. Also, I took a picture!

Awww, how pretty! And poor stupid impractical robins. At least Christopher Robin and Robin of Sherwood's nest is high up - I don't know if they've laid the eggs yet, because it's too high to actually see in.
