I knew it!

Well, no, I didn't actually know it. But like Stephen Colbert, I felt in my gut that tea is wondrous and health-giving beverage. And now it appears that it's actually healthier than water. Ha! I feel vindicated in my five-cups-a-day habit.

A tea-drinking baby! That's hardcore! Okay, the McGirlies have beaten me in their tea devotion - if only just because of the Gnome. I didn't really start drinking tea until my late teens, believe it or not, despite my parents being tea devotees.

I do feel a little bit guilty about Gnome's tea habits, but according to your link I shouldn't, hooray! After all, running about begging for "Aymi tea! Mo' tea!" is better than Irn Bru and crisps, right?

No, what was really embarrassing was when, in the queue for the till in Real Foods, she started asking for beer.

I used to have very milky tea before I was even eating solids (I grew up in Yorkshire where tea is a sort of religion) and although it has made me an addict for life I have suffered no other ill effects.

Ah, I have a Yorkshireman for a father, so I know how these things work. And there are certainly worse addictions.
