ETA: I have remembered a few more!

Snuggler

And I'm sure there are more, but that's all I can remember at the moment. What names (apart from his or her proper one) do you call/have you ever called your cat?

Zebadee generally gets the following: Fat Kitty, Zebs, GigantaCat, 'Look out, downtown Tokyo' and cooking fat. (as in [offscreen cursing] "what's that, dear? You stepped on the cooking fat?"). Plus one name that I can't spell as it belongs to a Four Hills Ski Jumper that I can not track down on Wikipedia. Sigh.

Scamps is Kitty Hautamäki (A Four Hills Ski Jumper, don't ask...), Kitty Evil, Kitty Palpatine, Wee Evil, Weevil, The Lesser of Two Weevils, Wee Beast, Feline Overlord.

There is undoubtedly more.

Hee, they are great names. Ju Ju gets called The Beast as well.

Hmm. My parents have come up with a lot:

Fluffy
Fluffers
Fluffy the Mystery Cat
Fluffy the Obvious
Fur Machine
Puddumus
Kitten-little-mitten

That's off the top of my head. We're more into inventing catchphrases for her, I think.

Oh yeah, and I also call her Mini-beast. Or sometimes Mega-beast. Rather like my brother, who has been called Big ever since he was very small.

Hee, I particularly like Fluffy the Obvious.

Milly and Molly become Mills and Molls and Millster and Mollster, and from that sometimes just Ster. Molly is also referred to as rat bag / cow bag when she is being mean to Milly and not letting her near the drinking water out of sheer spite.
Milly is often called lard cakes, little pie and The Belly, because she is a touch barrelly.

Hee. Poor Milly. She reminds me of my friend Linda's cat, who is so incredibly overweight that he's now just called Fat Bastard.

I absolutely love "Dame Poopingham!"

Sophie is Tofu, Tofiary, the Tophie-monster, Hitler (from her little mustache), Tiny (not because she is, but because Jasper is not), Annoying Loudmouth, and Miss Mousie.

Jasper is known by almost all my friends as the Spawn of Satan, but I call him Taspy. And also, Mr. Stinky.

She gets called Dame Poopingham (and other poo-related names) at times when she's not allowed outside because of illness (or when she is staying in another house, like at Christmas) and therefore has to go in her tray rather than in her personal lavatory patch at the bottom of the garden. I can't believe how much poo she produces when we have to clean it up!

And poor Jasper, what has he done to get such a name?

As someone with inside cats, I can sympathize on the cat tray. It's amazing things so small can smell so bad.

And Jasper likes to jump on Sophie and bite her on the neck until she cries out. Plus he has vampire fangs...hence the Spawn of Satan bit.

"Your Lordship" - for a while that was the only thing he'd answer to.
An ex called him "Lunch" or "Dinner", depending on the time of day.

Except for Roger, who I sometimes called 'Big boy'.
But that had been his other owner's name for him.

Gemini is Gem, Minnie, Gemba-Wemba, Djembe, BNBOK (which, for obscure stepchild-related reasons, is actually her middle name), Beastie Girl, Babakit. Scarlett is Scarbie, mostly, though we also call her Whiskers McGraw when she's being bad.

Oh, and whatever mispronunciations Gnome's come up with, too. Bummiyai was her first name for Gem, and Darnett for Scarlett.

Hee, Whiskers McGraw is a great name.

And what on earth does BNBOK stand for?

You actually want to know? Well. We got Gem when the stepchen was about 11, just for context. And we decided (at my mum's suggestion, actually) to call her Gemini because she has the exactly-divided two-colour face thing, and, in fact, she is a Gemini, but that's less relevant. But! The stepette is a Gemini too! So, drama drama, the kitten's getting named because of her! Compromise: her middle name is But Not Because Of K[the stepette].

I think you have more names for your one cat than we have for our two!

Magrat gets called Mag-puss and Mag-ling, mostly.
Arakasi (that's him in my icon) is usually Fluffy, Fluffy-puss, Fluffling, Fluffly, etc.
Both of them get randomly called Sweetie, Cat-puss, Furball, Foolish Feline, Pretty, Furry Pest (partly from a bilingual pun my brother made about a previous black cat we had) or Pusskin.

My parents' cats (also mine for the fact that I lived with them for at least half their life) are Simpkin and Mittens. Except my Mum hates the name Simpkin and has called him Tom always. He answers to both.

Other names are:

Beautiful
Gorgeous
Kitten
Kitty
Beautiful kitten
Pusscat
Pusskin
Pushkin
Chekhov
Little Kitten
Little Mammal
Fat Cat
Bad Cat
Naughty Cat
Naughty Little Kitten
Mad Cat (generally to Mittens who chases moths)
Mittsy
Simps
Good Little Kitten

I'm so RELIEVED that other people give loads of names to their cats too. I thought we were just weird....
Our Max is variously known as:
Doodlemunch/munchkin
Doodletown
Poop
Maximtotals
Totals
Totalmunch
Stones (as in 'Shtones', a Leitrim expression for 'idiot")
Totalmonster
Maxiedoodle

and other variations on the 'doodle' and 'totals' theme...
