breathe in, breathe out.

My younger sister is currently having an operation on her lungs, one she's been waiting for for ages, but which, because it's non emergency surgery, has been continually put off for about a year (and this is private. She'd probably get it when she was 50 otherwise). they rang her yesterday saying that she had to come in yesterday afternoon because finally they had time to do it. It's not hugely serious, but it's a bit icky, and also my parents are in America this week so it's bit unnerving for her, so if you're the praying sort, say one for her, please.

Good luck to you all. I'm sure she'll be fine, but let us know when it's over, OK?

Be thinking of you!

Poor sister. I am sending her the good health vibes.

I'm thinking of you, honey, and I'll say a prayer in church tonight. It must be so scary for you having to be the one responsible for her. And for both of you having her called in at such short notice. I can't begin to express the bile I feel about the health service in this country, so I won't.

We had a nice time last night, though we were worried about you - would you be around for a drink on Thursday, perchance, or do you want to be around your sister for the next while?

Ouch. I am wishing the best for her, definitely. That sounds nerve-wracking.
