it's all about clothes

On a more cheery note, it's time for another round of....what are you wearing today?

I myself am dressed in suitably cheery garb for such a depressing wet day. I'm wearing a fawn needle-cord skirt with two small frills going down the front, and a cherry-red, tight Lyle and Scott jumper (sweater to you 'mericans), which I got second hand about ten years ago and which I love. Under this I'm wearing a '70s cream cheese-cloth shirt with cherry-red flowers, with the collar coming out over the jumper. I look like I am in a country house party in about 1948, but I feel very cosy. And it looks cute, too.

And you?

Bless Dunnes indeed! I got a great blue jumper there the other week for just €20. The only good thing about living out here in the sticks is the fact that the huge Cornelscourt Dunnes is five minutes walk from my front door.

olive green zip up cardigan? sounds suspiciously alike one i bought in penneys for a fiver... the zip is off-center though. wear it nearly every day, <3.

(i was predictably mismatched as ever today. warlords of pez t-shirt whose logo disintegrated in the first wash so it's got an interesting 'distressed, sedate now' er... Look, jeans i nicked from my sister, black mary jane/fred astaire shoes, blue hoody nicked from my other sister, jelly bracelets from urbn in a sale for 2 euro, pink and black striped knee socks, vintage green metal bangle i found under the piano yesterday... scary strangers on buses call me 'colourful')
